Out of the Mouths of Babes

Last night I listened as my ten year-old sister sang in her fifth grade choir. Their little voices sang high and clear the precious promises truths we hold dear.

“We are the saints, we are the children, we’ve been redeemed, we’ve been forgiven. We are the sons and the daughters of our God.”

and

God’s not dead, He’s surely alive and He’s living on the inside, roaring like a lion. He’s roaring, He’s roaring, He’s roaring like a lion.”

It’s so refreshing to hear children praise our Heavenly Father. I pray that they all take these truths to heart, remember them forever, and do not forsake their first love of Jesus.

  1. Mamie, That is so sweet. Wish I could have seen Lu-Lu. She has such a pretty high voice. I do believe she will take those words to heart. You are an incredibly caring big sister. She is blessed to have you setting such a wonderful example for her and your other siblings.
